What is the word of 2020? Any guesses???
Believe it or not, it is PANDEMIC!
2020 has been a difficult year for most and when we think of the word pandemic in 2020, most will think of the noun definition – an outbreak of a disease.
At this cusp of a new year, I am going to go with the adjective meaning – prevalent over a whole country or the world. It is usually used in conjunction with disease, as in pandemic flu, but…
let’s mix it up… in a positive thinking, the start of something great, bright side kind of way.
What I wish for each and every one of you in 2021 is
PANDEMIC happiness (that feeling that comes over you when you know life is good and you can’t help but smile)
PANDEMIC well-being (the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy – let’s go with all three)
PANDEMIC success (the accomplishment of an aim or purpose)
PANDEMIC security (the state of being free from danger or threat)
PANDEMIC comfort (enjoying or providing a position of contentment and security)
AND
PANDEMIC _________ (fill in your wildest dream)
As we all know, 2020 has been a rough year and most are very happy to see it end. We are not quite out of the woods yet so let’s all start out 2021
being a little KINDER and more PATIENT,
with a little more UNDERSTANDING
and sharing a few more SMILES.
Let’s make each day BETTER THAN THE ONE BEFORE…
